The Day Of
by Jonathan David Levine
The biggest heart
Fell
apart
and
crumbled in the end.
He traveled far,
Past
the star,
Just
beneath the bend.
What happened was not a mistake.
He didn't want to awake,
For life he couldn't take.
Oh! How his heart now ached.
Insanity
drove him through,
With
nothing left to do,
Nowhere
left to weep,
He
needed, he needed the sleep.
